01
— Signs of storm damage
Dents on gutters and vents
Soft metal shows hail first. Dents on gutters, vents or the AC unit mean the shingles took hits too.
Granules in the downspouts
Piles of black grit at the bottom of a downspout are shingle granules knocked loose by hail.
Missing or lifted shingles
Wind lifts tabs and breaks the seal. Look for shingles out of line, creased or lying in the yard.
Dark spots on shingles
Hail bruises leave round dark marks where the granules are gone. Up close they feel soft.
Stains on ceilings
A new water stain upstairs or a damp attic after a storm means water is already getting in.
Neighbors getting new roofs
Hail falls in swaths. If the street is getting roofs after a storm, yours was likely hit too.

01
We never waive your deductible
Waiving a deductible is insurance fraud in Colorado. A contractor who offers it is cutting corners somewhere else.
02
No damage? We tell you
If the roof is fine, you get the photos and a straight answer. We do not file claims for damage that is not there.
03
No contract on the doorstep
Nothing to sign at the inspection. You get the report, talk to your insurer and decide in your own time.

— Questions
Storm just passed?
In hail season (April to September) we do storm inspections 7 days a week. If water is getting in, we tarp the roof the same day.
Look for dents on gutters, vents and the AC unit, and granules in the downspouts. Shingle damage is hard to see from the ground, which is why the inspection is free.
