This policy explains what [Pitchline Roofing Co.] (we, us) collects when you use this website or ask us for an inspection or estimate, how we use it and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
When you send a form we collect what you type in: your name, phone number, email, property address, the service or material you are interested in, whether there is an insurance claim, the estimate from our Roof Estimator and any message. We also receive basic technical data every website receives, such as browser type, pages viewed and an approximate location based on your IP address.
2. The Roof Estimator and the map
The Roof Estimator uses the Google Maps Platform to show satellite imagery and look up the address you type. Your address and the roof outline you draw are processed in your browser and by Google to show the map. They are sent to us only if you press Send this estimate and then submit the request form. Google’s use of map data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
3. How we use your information
We use your details to call you back, schedule inspections, prepare written estimates, document storm damage for your insurance claim when you ask us to, complete the work, send invoices and answer questions. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Photos of your property
During an inspection we photograph your roof and property to document its condition. We use these photos for your report, your estimate and, if you ask, your insurance claim. We only use photos of your home in our marketing with your written permission.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with providers that help us run the business, such as our website host, form and email services, scheduling and accounting software, material suppliers for your order, and your insurance company or adjuster when you ask us to work on a claim. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
6. Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies and privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
7. How long we keep it
We keep request and job records for as long as needed to provide service, honor warranties and meet legal and tax requirements, usually [7] years for completed jobs. Requests that do not become a job are deleted after [24] months.
